I listened to the first 13 WTT podcasts today, and ‘Battle of Carson Hotel’ was definitely one of my favorites. The hotel dick was a great character. I also really enjoyed the dialog between him and the front desk guy.

Verrry cool. This one reminded me of every black and white detective story that starts with ’she came in to my office, all black lace and lipstick…’. Set in the mid fourties, the hotel dick is perplexed with karate moves and the term ‘dojo’. I love all the description used for the fall from the fifth floor. A beautiful, well told tale.
