Would make a good Rodger Corman tribute…teh…
Great story. Very pulpy. Sonia is a good reader, love her other work as well.
I liked the story, and Sonia Perozzi is a good reader, but there were at least four mispronunciations that pulled me out of the mood: gelatinous, ominous, more that I can’t recall since listening to it yesterday. Otherwise good work though.
I am with Morton here. The story is good, but with all the mispronunciations the result sounds kind of amateurish. This was the first WTT I have listened to and it doesn’t give a good first impression.
Ditto the above posts regarding mispronunciations. You can add reverie and stiletto (from a girl!) to the list.
In Sonia’s defense, she stepped in on short notice to read for us with very little direction from me. And I should have caught a few problems in editing.
So the fault lies with me, your humble editor and the keeper of Well Told Tales. Sonia is a talented actor, and I have no doubt everyone will enjoy her upcoming readings.
